Project Success! Crawlspace Encapsulation

We just finished up a project that we really enjoyed doing and consider it a success. We did several things to this house but wanted to really show the crawlspace areas before and after encapsulation. Now the homeowners have much better air quality, a vapor barrier, insulating the crawlspace walls (spray foam), and a few less critter problems. Enjoy! Brief project description:

This client has a wine cellar next to one of the crawlspace areas and wanted to ensure that efficiency of the cooling was up to par. In addition to encapsulating the crawlspaces, we completed the following solutions:

• Applied spray foam to the crawlspace walls for added insulation and act as an air sealant as well.
• We also installed two Mitsubishi mini-split heat and air units for the wine cellar to ensure adequate cooling.
• Aerosealed the duct system (new duct sealing technology, read about it here)
• Applied new duct insulation.
