Home Energy Audit

Our certified energy auditors run complete efficiency tests to measure home air infiltration and duct leakage. Wall, attic & crawlspace insulation levels are evaluated to ensure adequate coverage. A home energy audit is the first step to a more comfortable, energy-efficient home — and it's FREE for most people through utility rebate programs.

Insulation

Proper insulation is one of the most cost-effective ways to make your home more energy efficient. Home Energy Rx evaluates your current insulation levels and recommends upgrades to attic, wall, and crawlspace insulation that will reduce heat transfer and lower your utility bills.

Air Sealing

One of the many things you can do for energy conservation is reducing air leakage, or infiltration. Air sealing your home prevents conditioned air from escaping through penetrations into the attic, which is then replaced by unconditioned air from outside via gaps around windows, doors, pipes, and floorboards. Most of our air sealing work takes place in the attic and the crawlspace.

Duct Work and Sealing

Leaky ducts can reduce the efficiency of your heating and cooling system by as much as 20 percent. Home Energy Rx uses diagnostic equipment to measure duct leakage and recommends sealing and insulating ducts to improve comfort and lower energy bills.

Crawlspace Encapsulation

Crawlspace encapsulation seals your crawlspace from moisture, pests, and outside air. This improves indoor air quality, reduces humidity, and makes your home more energy efficient. Home Energy Rx provides crawlspace encapsulation services for Arkansas homeowners.
