There is currently an energy efficiency program for multi-family properties within the SWEPCO service areas for properties that are 100{2e537dc160f52cffa61474df167a5f85f9d18261513837a380b0d37216fb9262} electric. Here are the requirements for the program:
- Participation in the Multifamily Direct Install pathway requires each property to consist of a minimum of 4 housing units or more served by individual SWEPCO electric meters.
- The customer may be eligible for a walk-through assessment to identify direct install, appliance and common area upgrade opportunities.
- Each participating unit must have electric water heating.
- Qualifying customers will receive up to $15 per unit for the installation of the following qualifying energy saving measures; compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs), low-flow showerheads, faucet aerators, and water heater pipe wrap. There is no charge to customers for the installation of eligible measures.
